Initial Consultation
(60 minutes)
We begin with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to confirm whether Spravato is appropriate for you. Together, we’ll review your history, prior treatments, and treatment goals.

Treatment Sessions
(2 hours each)
Spravato treatments take place in our office under direct supervision. Each session lasts about two hours to allow for administration, monitoring, and recovery before you go home.

Ongoing Monitoring
(30 minutes)
We will meet for 30-minute follow-up appointments after week 1, then at the end of months 1, 2, and 3. Once you are in the maintenance phase (after month 3), follow-up frequency is determined on a case-by-case basis, guided by your response, tolerability, and clinical progress.

How Spravato Works
Traditional antidepressants work on serotonin. Spravato works differently — on the brain’s glutamate system — helping create new neural connections that can lift mood and relieve symptoms more quickly.

No. Because Spravato may cause temporary drowsiness or dizziness, you cannot drive until the next day. Please arrange a safe ride home after each session.
